We are adding another member to our horse family! Looking for someone who enjoys caring for horses and their environment at a high level. This position is for the day to day care of three privately owned horses, and two donkeys. NO SHOWING! :) Five Days a week with night checks and not to exceed 40 hours. This role includes items listed below with additional roles of barn cleanliness. Responsible for the daily care of horses including but not limited to grooming, bathing,picking feet, feeding, watering horses, and leading the to and from the grass and bluestone paddocks. Daily barn maintenance including mucking, cleaning and filling water, preparing feed, medications, vacuuming aisle, and maintaining a clean and safe barn daily. Light exercising of horses in indoor arena. Picking Paddocks. We are a quiet private farm. If you enjoy nature and animals this position is perfect for you. We are a drama free property! Organizational skills and cleanliness is a key component for success in this role. We are not a show or competition barn. Our horses are strictly for pleasure!

Minimum 3-5 Years Experience as a well regarded professional in the equine industry. Ability to work independently and be a self starter. Organizational and Time Management Skills Previous Vet Tech experience a plus to recognize and handle medical situations as they arise. Being a team player! Lastly, the ability to be flexible as needed. Able to proficiently and safely transport horses should the emergency need arise,
