We're a boutique private facility with 8 sporthorses ranging from retirees to just starting under saddle.. Our emphasis is quality over quantity. We are in search of an exceptional Groom who prides themselves on turning out well groomed healthy and happy horses. As a private facilty we can provide the individualized care that each horse needs. We are in search of that special someone who can provide that care and attention to our handful of happy horses.
Previous show barn or private horse farm experience is helpful. Knowledge of properly handeling a horse, tacking up and caring for tack, feeding, grooming, clipping, bandageing, trailering, injections etc is necessary. Ideally you work well with your co-workers, have a sense of humor, maintain a tidy barn and are focused on the well being of the horses. 5 days a week to include one weekend day. Competitive salary.
