We are looking for an assistant trainer or intern well experienced in equitation and jumpers with mileage on young and green horses to join our crew. Candidates should be secure in the tack even when a horse spooks or scoots, and be able to accurately read a horse's body language.
We have several very nice 3 year olds getting started, ready for a rider to take them along the next steps. The right candidate will be taught, from the ground up, our methodology and techniques for training and starting young horses. The techniques utilized are slow, gentle, and considerate of the horse's personality and needs. If this is a skill set you are interested in acquiring, this is a great opportunity we do not offer often.
Flexible on start/end dates, and this position can be temporary or more permanent.
