Cherokee Stable is a small private stable (8 horses) nestled away in the historic Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia (zip code 19118), with unique and direct access to The Wissahickon and Fairmont Park – and we are looking for the perfect person to join our team!
We are looking for someone to commit to several shifts a week. AM shift: (approx. 5 hours of work) PM shift: (approx. 2 hours of work)
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE: • Managing the daily care and general wellbeing of the herd including: turn out/turn in horses daily; light grooming; clean stalls; individualized care tasks requested by owners • Filling water tubs and removing manure from pastures
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: • Horse experience • 18+ years old, with own transportation
COMPENSATION INCLUDES: • Shift rate based on experience (additional income opportunities may available to the right candidate)
