WestWin Farms is currently looking for individuals interested in equine reproduction for the 2026 season. This position is ideal for those with a desire to pursue a career in the equine industry. Applicants will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in all aspects of equine care, breeding farm procedures and equine management.

Applicants will receive exposure in stallion management, including semen collection, semen evaluation, and processing semen for shipment and freezing. Mare management includes foaling out, artificial insemination, mare pregnancy care, and hormone therapy.

We currently have two job openings.

1. **Breeding Assistant - 6 days a week. ** Daily activities of this position include helping staff with administering medications, assisting with medical treatments, handling mares for reproductive exams, handling foals for wellness exams and treatments, participating in foal watch and helping with foaling. **
2. Foaling Attendant - 6 days a week** Duties include monitoring pregnant mares for signs of labor, assisting with foaling, record and document essential information, administer basic care and medications as needed, and identify and manage any signs of distress.

Previous horse handling experience is required.

No companions, and pets must be pre-approved. Job begins November 1, 2026, and concludes August 31, 2026, with the possibility for further employment for the right applicant.

Applicants are provided housing and biweekly pay.
