Do you thrive in a dynamic environment where your expertise directly contributes to outstanding guest experiences? This could be the perfect opportunity for you! As a vital part of our Ranch Management Team, the Head Groom is responsible for the personalized care of all ranch animals, ensuring the highest standards are met. You'll be involved in daily animal care, help supervise Ranch Hands, and play a key role in delivering consistent, high-quality service to our guests and property owners. For the right candidate, this also has the potential to be a riding position! What You'll Do: Lead and participate in comprehensive horse care (feeding, grooming, conditioning, veterinary care, stable management). Maintain ranch facilities (arena, vehicles, pastures, barns). Contribute to memorable ranch events and hospitality by greeting guests, assisting with meal service, and ensuring guest areas are pristine. Share daily on-site supervision of Ranch Hands on a rotating schedule. Perform rotating night checks.
The schedule is generally 5 days a week with a minimum of 2 weekends per month, and holiday coverage on a rotating basis. While the needs of the Ranch sometimes require long hours, we prioritize work-life balance.
