Equestrian Employer Details
We have a 25 acre dressage horse farm. We have five horses, 2 minis, chickens, bunnies, cats, dogs and ducks. This is a private farm where we host some weekly lessons and occasional clinics. We are seeking a hardworking farm hand to help with maintenance and chores. 40 hours a week, M-F, 9-5. Excellent pay depends on experience, references, skills and work ethic. Duties include pastures, 5 stalls (*8 when we have clinics) water buckets, hay, tractor work, fence repair, and general repairs. No mowing, no riding. Must be able to lift 50 pounds of feed and 75 pounds of hay. We seek a team member willing to work in a collaborative way. We need someone reliable, nonsmoker, no drugs, no phone addiction during work, loyal, punctual with a positive attitude. Most important is an understanding that all work is relevant to what is best for the horses.
