We are seeking an experienced and dedicated person to join our team at a private farm. The farm has yearlings, weanlings, broodmares, and riding horses for hunter/jumpers. Duties include riding young hunters/jumpers ages 4-6, working with newly born foals (3 this year) feeding, turnout, holding for farrier/vet, basic barn cleaning, and other farm-related tasks.

Job Requirements:

• Prior experience with horses is required
• Independent, self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently
• Must have reliable transportation if local (or housing can be provided for 1 person--not set up for families *** NO DOGS***)
• Sunday off
• non-smoker

This is an independent contractor position and the pay is based on experience. Housing is available on the farm in a 1 bedroom apartment with full kitchen/bath. The farm is a quiet and low drama environment, offering a great opportunity for the right candidate to work with wonderful horses on a gorgeous farm located 10 min from downtown lexington KY
