Carl Bouckaert, former Olympic rider and owner of Bouckaert Farm, is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Barn Manager & Personal Groom to oversee the daily operations of the barn and provide exceptional care for his horses. This unique opportunity is ideal for a seasoned equestrian with a passion for horses, a great attitude, and the desire to grow in a more intimate and personalized setting.

Key Responsibilities: Barn Management: Hands-on with the daily operations of the barn, including mucking stalls, organizing the care and maintenance of the barn and stable areas, and ensuring the barn remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.

Horse Care: Provide expert grooming and tacking up of Carl Bouckaert’s horses on short notice, especially in response to spontaneous requests. Ensure horses are properly prepared for riding and training.

Scheduling: Manage the routine care schedules for the horses, ensuring that feeding, grooming, exercise, and medical needs are met consistently.

Horse Health Management: Monitor the horses' health and well-being, notifying Carl of any concerns and coordinating with veterinarians, farriers, and other specialists as required.

Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with Carl Bouckaert regarding the horses' condition, training schedules, and any immediate requests or changes.

If you’re an experienced equestrian with a passion for horse care, a flexible approach, and the ability to handle last-minute tasks with grace, we would love to hear from you. Join us in this unique opportunity and contribute to the ongoing success of Carl Bouckaert’s equestrian endeavor

Requirements

Experience: A retired or semi-retired equestrian with strong experience in riding, grooming, and barn management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the needs of top-level competition horses, having been in the sport themselves.
