About Jewel Court Stud Jewel Court Stud (JCS) is a year-round competitive training facility dedicated to the highest level of dressage performance. Under the leadership of Eliane Cordia van Reesema, JCS focuses on continually improving training practices and techniques through information sharing and technology. Our equestrian operation travels seasonally between Wellington, Florida and Wilton, Connecticut, operating out of our own private facilities.
Position Available: Horse Groom We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Horse Groom to join our team. Candidates must have experience working in a show barn environment and be comfortable handling top-level dressage horses.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Twice daily mucking of stalls Feeding (including night check) Turning horses out in paddocks Hand-walking horses Braiding Horse laundry Orderly upkeep of premises Mucking paddocks, walker, lunging pen, and riding rings Tacking up/untacking horses before and after workouts Warming up/cooling down horses before and after workouts Cleaning tack Body clipping Packing/unpacking for competitions Carrying out normal daily duties at the barn when the Assistant Trainer and/or Barn Manager are at competitions Schedule:
Full-time position 6 days per week Hours: 7AM – 4PM Compensation:
$1000 - $1200 per week, dependent on experience Housing provided
