We are looking for an Assistant Trainer/Manager to join our team before upcoming season. You must be organized self starter. Job includes supervising horse care (farrier, teeth, vet, etc), setting up appointments for care, ordering horse feed/hay/shavings/supplements, organizing show schedule, RIDING /may need to get on young horses, typical barn chores, running of farm property/ maintenance. Will need to be a very good rider with proven abilities in equine industry and willing to learn under head trainer.
Requirements
Looking for someone willing to grow in the horse industry. Need to be able to handle constructive criticism and have a positive attitude.

Equestrian Employer Details
Geddaway Farm is a 32 stall Hunter Jumper facility located in Jacksonville, Florida. We currently have around 12 boarders and 15 personal horses. Majority are show horses and some retired show horses. The facility is 40 acres with two rings 150 x 300. We also have a 1500 square foot house on property for the Assistant Trainer. We show a couple times a year. We go down to Wef for a month or so during season, spring we like to go to Aiken or Tryon and summer we like to go somewhere cooler like Blowing Rock.
