Clean stalls and pastures, clean waterers, wash buckets, brushes, combs, tack boxes & hay balls, assists maintenance when necessary, keeps up on trash, cleanliness of property, fly control, keeps the drain clear, cleans up cobwebs, whatever else the owner/barn manager needs help with. All Employees: Help fellow employees when needed and works as a team player Report repairs needed on maintenance board Reports emergencies to owner Keeps barns and grounds clean and orderly at all times Notices any alarming behavior or injuries and reports to the owner. If owner is not available, handles the situation and calls vet if necessary. Strives for excellence in every moment and open to professional development Understands this is a dynamic barn with frequent changes Understands that first impressions are everything with the way our horses and barn looks to clients.
Requirements
We are breeding farm with stallions, mares, and foals so minimum 3 years experience with horses is necessary. You will be required to drive an ATV and trailer and use other equipment to keep our farm in top shape. Must be physically fit, energetic willing to take direction, and enjoy both working alone and as a team. Your position reflects first impression of our barn and it is imperative to be taken seriously and with pride.
