At MMR, we create a unique environment that contrasts with the modern world. Here, technology is traded for genuine conversations and authentic friendships. Fun is had, and meaningful connections are made without substances, and there is no pressure for romantic relationships—everyone is treated like family. Our mission revolves around being present, growing together, and striving for greatness. Mountain Meadow Ranch is not just a summer camp; it’s a place where individuals grow, conquer fears, and discover who they truly are. If you are seeking just fun, this isn’t the place for you—fun is guaranteed, but what we offer goes far beyond that. We create an environment that encourages self-growth, authenticity, and support for one another. We value stewardship, inclusivity, empathy, encouragement, and integrity. Our ultimate goal is to help each other thrive as a family, to find joy in our uniqueness, and to encourage everyone to step outside their comfort zones.
Camp is an intense, short-lived experience where kids need our full attention and presence. We seek staff who are committed to the kids, willing to live the unique lifestyle MMR offers, and embrace the responsibility that comes with it. Being present and working together as a team are at the heart of what we do here, and we need staff who are passionate about creating those experiences.
The horseback program at MMR is central to our ranch atmosphere, with western riding for campers of all levels. Our herd of 15-30 horses each has unique personalities. As a wrangler, you’ll get to know each horse and lead trail rides with 10 kids and 2-3 staff. The 900+ acre ranch borders National Forest lands, offering endless trails.

As a third generation family owned and operated camp, we believe the magic of camp happens in the “in-between” moments. These are the spontaneous, unstructured times that lead to deep connections, self-discovery, and genuine joy. Whether it’s in casual play by the lagoon, sharing our hearts under the stars around the campfire, or simply enjoying the sounds of nature, these moments are where lifelong memories are made and the camp becomes a family.
Nestled between lush national forest and wild desert in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California, Mountain Meadow Ranch Summer Camp is the perfect environment for an unplugged, mindful experience.
