About the Role: We’re seeking a Practical Instructor in Equine Management to join our Animal Sciences team. You’ll deliver hands-on teaching, support horse care and help students develop their skills and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, practical instruction
Prepare horses and resources for sessions
Exercise horses as needed (schooling, lunging, hacking)
Monitor health and welfare, maintain records
Promote safe working practices and maintain equipment
Assess and support student development
Oversee health and safety in practical areas
About You:
Level 3 in Horse Management and BHS Stage 3 Coach in Complete Horsemanship
GCSEs in English and Maths (or willing to achieve them)
Recent equine industry and training experience
Confident horse handling and teaching skills
Professional, organised, and supportive
Interview Date: 24 April 2025 – includes riding assessment (13 stone limit applies)
