We are looking for a candidate who wants to join a dynamic, motivated team in the Namibian bush for 2 years while our Namibian guest services team members go for training in Europe (successively). Ideal for someone who has worked in southern Africa before and now prefers a more indoor role while still enjoying life in the bush.
Job description: Meet & Greet with each guest
- Explaining itinerary to each guest
- Coordination of all guest activities and guest preferences across departments
- Invoicing, check-in and outs
- Ensuring smooth execution of an excellent and individual guest experience
- Dealing with daily operations and “making a plan”
- Addressing Guest complaints in a timely & professional manner
Requirements (Please do not apply unless you meet each requirement):
- Fluent in German and English
- Horse Riding Qualification OR Internationally recognised Hospitality Qualification
- Ability, maturity and competency in interacting with international guests
- Drivers’ License
- IT literate (training on our software will be provided but IT literacy required)
- Resilient, customer focussed and able to work in occasionally high pressure situations
- Willingness to commit to 2 years, with initial 3 months’ work visa and related probation period
- Able and willing to live in Nature Reserve
- Living arrangement on the Reserve do not cater for partners, children or pets to be brought along
