We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable and conscientious person. A person who takes pride in their work and is happy to work along side myself and/or by yourself. We are a boutique equestrian facility so this person must be willing to treat these horses with the same passion as their own.

The role consists of split shifts, morning being 6.30am - 12pm and the afternoon shift is from 1.30pm - 5pm. You will rarely work both shifts in one day. Option for full-time for the right candidate. Some shifts there will be many people around and others you will be working completely independently. It consists of stable cleaning, feeding, rugging, tacking up/untacking, washing down, cleaning tack, cleaning paddocks, general farm work maintenance and overall care of the horses.

Working independently and manage your time according to expectations, experience handling fit and large horses, understanding of horse body language, change horse rugs in stable and paddock, have an eye for detail, take initiative, ability to take instruction and follow plan.

We do have a caravan if needed but would need to discuss suitability.

Training with handling and taking care of performance horses. Lessons from the owner (if desired). Riding horses on trails and helping exercise horses. After three months of employment: Agistment for one horse at discounted rate. After Six months of employment: Increase in pay. Opportunity for training with international trainers. More discussed.
