Bio
I have been riding for almost 8 years. I have background in the Hunter/Jumpers with Swan Lake Stables in Littlestown, PA. I attended the University of Findlay for almost 2 years in their English Equestrian Training program.Qualifications
I have 3 1/2 semesters at the University of Findlay in their English Equestrian Program.
Duties of Current Occupation
I have been a Farmhand/ Assistant Trainer for Haven Farm in Mechanicsburg, PA for the past 7-8 months and have a good relationship with the trainer Betsy Morret. I helped groom for her at "A" rated shows as well a helped teach beginner lessons.
Equine Work Experience
I have a extensive background in equine experience. Since attending the University of Findlay they have taught us how to show grow and provide basic medical needs for the horses. I can clean stalls quickly and very neatly. I take pride in leaving my areas clean and neat for the next person.
I have grown my experience with foals and green horses and can confidently work with any horse. Though I have not had in person experience I have learned how to handle stallions. I also have experience handling sedated horses.
I also am confident in lunging as well as double lunging or long reining horses.
Specialities
I have extensive handling experience from foals & greens to your school masters. I am confident in turning out and can turn out groups as large as 2-3 at one time.
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden a number a horses throughout my career. I have flated your typical lesson push button horse, to your fired up jumpers. I have no issues flatting anything. I also have some background in basic dressage. I have some jumping experience up to 2'3 on both jumpers and hunters.
Competition Details
I have competed at a Local level a few times, I have experience as a competition groom both at Findlay and at "A" rated shows.
