Duties of Current Occupation
I bring with me organizational, communication and self starter skills from my career in law enforcement. I work extensively on ground work with my younger horse and building a strong foundation. I value safety, cleanliness and doing things right.
Equine Work Experience
I began riding and working around horses when I was in the 5th grade. From a young age I learned basic care or horses and the value of keeping a clean and organized arena, tack room and stalls.
I’ve spent the last year working twice a week with a lesson instructor to learn dressage and basic jumping. My goal is to continue training so I can expand my dressage and hunter/jumper knowledge and compete.
I own a 5 year old Friesian/Morgan, Blaze. We are training in dressage and jumping.
Specialities
Experience grooming, mucking stalls, administering basic medications Self starter, also enjoy working with a team. I am used to a high stress and fast paced work environment while managing others. I began training my horse when he was 5 and green to a rider and saddle. We do extensive ground work and desensitization/confidence building and beginning dressage.
