Equine Work Experience
I am 27. I started riding at 3 years old. I have extensive horse experience across many disciplines, breeds, and jobs. Most of my time has been spent with hunters/ jumpers, thoroughbred racehorses, and young horses. I have groomed, managed, hauled, vet teched, trained, and ridden in various jobs. My main focus now is riding/ training, especially young hunters and jumpers. I have some experience breaking horses and have ridden many yearling and 2 year old thoroughbreds. I have also been hired for problem horses several times. I am an athletic rider who is patient and attuned with her horses. I am good at quickly spotting problems or holes in a horse’s education and creating new meaning for them so they can better do their job. I enjoy teaching a horse its job, then letting him do it and I am happy to take the time it takes to do so.
