i worked at daffodil hill farm for about a year whenever the owner needed me to do so, like while she was showering in florida or had iea shows. i was in charge of feeding hay, grain, cleaning and filling water buckets, turn out/turn in, cleaning stalls as needed. before that, i rode at terryallen farms for at least 7 years. i’d help out with turn out/turn in, feeding, waters, mucking stalls as needed. i was on the iea team so there early mornings and lots of work i chose to do. even if i didnt have a lesson scheduled, i would spend my days there helping out with chores and lessons. i would go early with the trainer to shows to help with the horses and help my teammates prepare. if i wasnt showing in iea shows, i was always there to get the horses ready, warm them up, and not leave til the horses were put away and the barn was clean, and the arena was back to normal.

i rode at a couple hunter/jumper barns and rode western for a short while. i took lessons but did get chances to ride a boarder’s horse while she was away at college. i hacked one of the barn’s new lesson horses while i still rode there, he was very green.

I competed in regular schooling shows, IEA shows (for 6 years), and have done some shows through CHSA
