Duties of Current Occupation
I have worked as a paid professional groom in my teens and early twenties. I have also groomed unofficially for friends at stay away 3 day events and had sole charge of schedule and horse welfare. Currently I work in veterinary.
Equine Work Experience
I have extensive work with event horses. I worked on a professional eventing yard and have owned my own horses for 10+ years. I have worked as a groom at team chasing, and hunting. I am confident and calm with situations such as veterinary visits. Contacting vets and discussing ailments of horses. Liaising with owners/yard managers. As a horse owner myself I truely understand what is expected at top level livery services. I have worked on livery yards and have kept my own horses at several full/part/DIY yards.
Specialities
• I have worked with event horses, hunters, team chasers and dressage horses, injured/rehab horses
• I am a livery myself and have an intricate understanding of livery expectations
• I am effective and efficient at mucking out.
• I have an understanding that as much as I love the horses I care for and am passionate about the equine industry, the yard is a business and must be run as so.
• I am in the process of obtaining my HGV license
Type of Ride Work
I have ridden everything from young green horses, to rehabilitation horses. Eventers, DSG, SJ, event, hunter, ex race.

I have personally competed, to BE80, SJ, XC, Hunter trials, Showing. I have groomed at: BE, BSJA, Hunting, Trial Hunting, DSG, Team Chasing.
