Duties of Current Occupation
Trimming and shoeing sport and ranch horses, maintaining hoof balance and soundness, monitoring horse condition and identifying lameness issues, managing daily horse care including feeding, turnout, and stable routines, and handling horses safely.
Equine Work Experience
25 years of experience in the equine industry across sport horse and farm settings, supported by American Farrier’s Association Certified Farrier (CF) status and a Master of Science in Equine Science (in progress). Strong background in equine management and horse care, including trimming and shoeing a range of horses such as performance and ranch horses. Experience includes maintaining high standards of horse welfare and stable management, managing feeding programs and nutrition, and overseeing turnout, rugging, and daily care in high-volume yard environments, including mucking out and stable maintenance.
