Bio
I have a dog that comes with me wherever I go. He's a smal dog. He grew up between horses, cats, chickens, bunny's etc. (included a picture of him). There is no possibility of me not taking him with me so it is important that he is also welcome!
Qualifications

•I would love to get an instructors license! It's a dream of mine to teach both children and adults all the great things a horse can teach us.. •I studied animal welfare and wildlife in school. •I recently did a course for mentorship, helping support teenagers and/or troubled young adults on the work field.

Duties of Current Occupation

Currently working in an animal shelter. Here I'm responsible for the dog department. Everything from cleaning to training dogs, administration and rehoming them. I was an assistant manager at a retail store. Worked as a groom in Arabian show horses.

Equine Work Experience

•I have about 20 years of experience with horses. I've had multiple horses of my own. •experience breaking in young horses, including stallions. •did an internship at Jadem Arabians in Belgium. Mostly handling broodmares and foals. Assisting the vet etc. •worked at a training center for Arabian show horses for 2 months. Lunging , showing, grooming, etc. • been a competition groom for a showjumper. • volunteered at a shelter for neglected horses and other animals for multiple years..

Specialities

I'm motivated to get to work. I'm not one to sit still when on the job. I'm determined to do a good job. I always keep things neat and tidy as much as it is possible in a stable. I have respect for all animals as much as I do other people. I try to work efficient and make sure the job is done. Don't mind staying late to make sure everything is done for the day. I was an assistant manager at a retail store so I do have some management experience. Not afraid of making my hands dirty!

Type of Ride Work

•I have the most experience in dressage and jumping •helped with multiple young or green horses in the past

I'm a quiet and calm person with horses but know the boundaries as when to correct a horse in it's behavior. But most importantly I think it's important to have respect for your horse in order to get theirs. I'm an allround rider that takes an interest in all kinds of disciplines. I simply love learning new things and hearing advice from other people when it comes to horses and riding.

Competition Details

I never competed myself simply due to lack of interest in the past. However I have been a competition groom multiple times for show jumpers. I'm eager to learn and maybe ride competitions in the future..
