Teen Leadership Summer Program: Non-Paid Position, Training

Age Requirement: Female (15 -17 yr. old)

Teen participate in a program designed to teach leadership skills, build teamwork, and give opportunities for skill development and personal growth.

• Do you want to help make a positive impact and help youth grow in character and their horsemanship? If you answer yes, this might be the right one for you.

We are a private ranch that teaches youth & adults horseback riding and how to train horses. In the summer we have Teen Leadership Program.

• Certain # of lessons required during trial period. After qualified student-intern will earn discounts toward lessons or practice rides.
• Students that qualify for the program and meet hours required each month: riding/discounts will be applied for next month’s lesson & ride times.

• Prefer applicant lives within 30-40 min from ranch.
• Be available 2 Sat/month a.m., 2-4 weekday/month p.m.
• Be available 3-5/month a.m. - help horses and barn attendant.
• • Summer (June - July) weekdays (Morning till early afternoon)
• Help clinics- some may be 2-3 day/overnight
• Help with lessons and horses. (year-round) -if you want to continue after the summer.
• Applicants must be physically fit, be very dedicated, and hard working.

During summer program- living space available for a short time. Bunkhouse with full bath, a/c, fridge, coffee etc.

• More time with horses! Great Exercise!
• Improve your horsemanship skills, learn how to care for horses!
• Earn credits for discount lesson and ride times!
