Special professional opportunity for talented and experienced dressage trainer to develop Young P.R.E. Horses for Sale and Competition. Applicants should be capable of training young horses in accordance with the dressage training scale and "over the back" to Grandprix. Trainer will be in charge of preparing a selection of young horses at Coves Darden and will work with other trainers and staff and in coordination with our sales department. Applicant must be comfortable training and handling stallions, be experienced riding and educating green broke horses and enjoy competing professionally at recognized shows. Experience starting horses is a plus. Trail riding and cross training is encouraged and our facility has the infrastructure to do so. Clinics in benefit of our in-house trainers continued education are arranged to support development of horse and rider as needed. No mucking and No feeding is required unless away at shows.

Work schedule is from Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Trainers are expected to be available on weekends for presentation of horses to clients or participation in competition or clinics. Trainer has the opportunity to take on additional training horses through Coves Darden board agreement. Pay is weekly. The rate is negotiable depending on the capabilities of the Applicant. Direct Deposit is required.
