We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and passionate Instructor to join our expanding program. We specialize in dressage, jumping, and biomechanics-focused training with an emphasis on correct foundations ( on the ground and in the saddle) , horse welfare, and rider education. We are looking for an instructor who is committed to fostering a positive, structured, educational experience for students of all levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for an instructor who thrives on teaching correct fundamentals in dressage, flatwork, and jumping, while ensuring riders understand the “why” behind the training. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of proper biomechanics and functional movement or a willingness to deepen their understanding in this area ( training available for the right person who is eager to grow and develop their skills)

We are looking for someone who: • Has a solid foundation in dressage, proper flatwork, and basic over-fences instruction. • Is conscientious, responsible, and professional, with a strong commitment to horse welfare. • Enjoys working with students of all levels and ages, creating structured, confidence-building lessons. • Understands or is eager to learn more about biomechanics and proper horse movement. • Can set clear, effective boundaries with both horses and students, fostering a respectful and professional learning environment. • Bonus: If you have knowledge of liberty work to incorporate into lessons !

What We Offer: • A supportive, education-focused environment dedicated to quality instruction. • The chance to work with a variety of horses, including young prospects, performance horses, and rehab cases. • Opportunities for riding and furthering your own education through clinics and professional development. • A leadership role in running the program for the right candidate. • A professional yet welcoming atmosphere that values horses and the people working with them.

I've worked at this farm for a while now and am shocked at how much I've already learned. If you are looking for a place with an opportunity to expand your experience working with horses on a daily basis, both in hand as well as riding, then you'll really enjoy a position here! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and between lessoning with her and participating in the monthly clinics, this is an amazing opportunity for a serious equestrian. I am so grateful to have found Folklore Farm!
