We’re seeking a motivated, full-time riding instructor or trainer to join a private, professionally managed equestrian program in northern New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teaching, building rider relationships, and working within a structured, supportive environment.
We offer a progressive pay model based on lesson volume, with weekly bonuses and a clear path to grow. Startup support provided during onboarding. Housing available (private, on-site) for the right candidate
Requirements
- An experienced, professional instructor or trainer
- English riding background in hunter/jumper, show jumping, or dressage
- Comfortable teaching youth and adults (beginner–intermediate+)
- Strong communicator who creates a positive, safe lesson environment
- Able to school a variety of horses and help match riders appropriately
- Reliable, organized, and professional in all aspects of barn life
- Willing to grow and manage a consistent lesson program
- Show coaching experience is a plus
- Legal to work in the U.S.
- Full-time availability (5–6 days/week)
