Immediate job opening for energetic self-motivated Veterinary technician for elite sport horse practitioner affiliated with a large hospital. Based out of Wellington, FL year-round, with travel (mostly day trips) out of state in summer months. Responsibilities include jogging horses for soundness, preparing horses for joint injections and diagnostic blocking, assisting in equine imaging including radiographs, maintaining inventory on work vehicle, maintaining equipment, some laboratory work, some direct client interaction, some administrative responsibilities. Clean driving record, excellent horse handling skills, and good health essential. Previous veterinary technician experience is preferred but not required. This is a full time position with benefits. Work week typically Tuesday through Friday 8:30-5:30 Saturday and Sundays 12-5:00. Hourly pay commensurate with experience.
