General yard groom needed to work on a private yard with 5 horses. All equipment is available to make the job efficient and non back breaking. This is a full time position, working Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and a shorter day on a Saturday. You will need to be very tidy and work at a high standard, along side another member of staff. 3 of the horses are carriage driven, and all training if required will be given in the work to turning them out at a high standard, for competitions.Lunging, long reining and riding would also be advantage. If interested then the opportunity to attend competitions will be available, and you get to see the beautiful places around the country staying in hotels for your accommodation. I keep the horses at my home in Wickham Bishops Essex, so you will need to drive and if you have horse box license this would be an advantage, although a lorry test may be offered. All training for the job will be offered, but good initiative , motivation and attention to detail are very important.
