inca La Donaira is looking for a full-time Groom to join our team in Andalusia, Spain. We are searching for a very reliable, organized and hardworking horse person with experience in the daily care and management of sport horses, young horses and stallions. This role is especially focused on horse welfare, stable management and handling young horses safely and professionally. Experience with young horses is ESSENTIAL. The ideal candidate must feel confident around horses of different ages and temperaments and understand the importance of calm, consistent and correct handling from the ground. Main responsibilities: • Daily horse care and stable duties • Grooming, tacking up and untacking • Feeding and general horse management • Handling young horses and stallions safely • Assisting riders during training sessions • Lunging and basic groundwork when required • Preparing horses for lessons, clients and competitions • Monitoring horses’ health and wellbeing • Maintaining high stable standards and organization

REQUIREMENTS • All necessary permissions to work in the EU/Spain already established • English speaking required (Spanish is a plus) • Valid driver’s license preferred • Previous experience working with sport horses and young horses • Confidence handling stallions and young horses • Good physical condition and ability to work independently • Team player attitude and positive mindset • High attention to detail and horse welfare This is NOT a holiday job.
