Quinta Blou is centrally located in the Santarem district of Portugal, nestled in a picturesque landscape. We live with our nine horses (Criollos and Lusitanos) on 16 hectares of land in the heart of a nature reserve. Your Daily Life: Horses & Ranch Work • The Basics (Half-Time): You will support us for 3-4 hours daily, caring for our 9 horses. Duties include meticulous paddock cleaning and ensuring they are well-fed and watered. • True Ranch Living: As part of the Quinta, you’ll als help with general ranch tasks. • Training Option (Full-Time): If you are an experienced rider at a high level, we would love to entrust you with the schooling and training of some of our horses. (Note: Meaningful videos and references are required for this option).

Terms & Autonomy • Work Schedule: Enjoy your downtime! You have two days off during the week, giving you the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings during the week. You are required to work on weekends • Mobility: To fully enjoy your independence and for your personal needs, you should ideally be mobile (own car), as our Quinta is beautifully secluded in a nature reserve. • Compensation: We offer fair pay according to Portuguese standards (pro-rata).Depending on your qualifications, the salary may be higher • Self-Catering: You enjoy your independence and provide your own meals • Requirements: You must possess a valid EU work permit and have your own health insurance.

👤 Your Profile & Application You love a fair and respectful approach to horses. Ideally, you have experience in Natural Horsemanship and are familiar with (or interested in) working with the Bosal. You are a self-starter, a quick learner, and a grounded personality. The well-being of our animals is our core mission.
