Barn Hand Position - starting from June 1st 2025 onwards.

Riverlands Equestrian Facility is a professionally managed dressage barn near Whistler, BC. We are looking for an experienced Barn Hand to work under the direction of the Barn Manager.

Day to day activities will include feeding, mucking stalls, turnouts, general cleaning of the barn and the paddocks, assisting the vet and farrier, grooming, giving medication if needed and monitoring general horses' health.

The position is 40 hours per week with 2 days off and paid lunchtime, for a salary of $20/h. Working days are flexible, but ideally we are looking for someone willing to work during weekends (staff rotation). Accomodation is provided (private bedroom). Own horse welcome.

We are looking for someone reliable with horse experience in a professional barn, a team player with strong communication and organization skill. Experience working with warmblood sport horses is a must. Ideally, the person would live on site and participate in nightchecks.
