I am currently looking for a live in Groom/ Stable Hand/Rider to work in a private yard on a sheep wheat farm in western NSW. Main discipline is showing & dressage. Applicants will need to have a high standard of turn out with attention to detail and be comfortable working with larger horses. I am seeking someone that is reliable, honest and flexible with a genuine love of animals. A sense of humor and the ability to live in an isolated environment is essential, as is, self-motivation. Duties range from training and bring horses back into full work, preparing horses for competitions, grooming at competitions over the state, handling young stock, ,feeding working dogs, some gardening, general farm maintenance, occasional sheep work well as the daily activities around the stables . As we are 60km from town so having your own car is preferred but not essential. For international applicants we are classified as rural so we can sign off on second year visas applications but it is not a short term position as we prefer applicants to stay 6 months or more. A separate fully furnished cottage, power, internet and wage are part of the renumeration.
