We run an Eventing yard on a sheep farm, 30 kms south west of Cooma in Southern NSW, Australia. We retrain TB's off the track and do some of our own breeding/producing for Eventing and sale. Usually there are about 4-6 horses in work at a time. Normally we travel to shows and events all over NSW and Vic. We are seeking a live-in Working Rider/Groom/Working pupil with a passion for Eventing. Salary according to experience and self contained cottage available. Opportunity to bring one horse and receive lessons from International Event rider and Level 2 Eventing specialist coach. Duties include feeding, grooming, mucking out, lunging, schooling, fitness work, travelling to competitions, washing, plaiting, basic first aid, cleaning gear and truck, arena maintenance, handling young horses and sole charge when necessary. Opportunity to compete. You must be an experienced and capable rider and able to work/ride on your own. Competition experience is desirable. Your OWN CAR is ESSENTIAL as we live 30kms from the nearest town. You MUST ALREADY RESIDE in Australia. Hours are flexible, some weekend work is required. Minimum 3 mth stay, preferably longer. We are a family owned sheep farm in Southern NSW near Cooma on the shores of Lake Eucumbene. I have previously evented up to 4 star level internationally and now retrain ex racehorses to event and breed/produce Sporthorses for sale. Also I am an EA Level 2 Eventing Specialist coach. I have about 4-6 horses in work at a time and they live out in paddocks all year round. I have a sand dressage and a large jumping arena for training and 6000 acres to ride over. Frequently we travel to shows and events throughout NSW and Victoria.
